What Do You Want To See Invented?

We all have some wish-list inventions we want to see, so share thoughts and suggestions on what inventors ought to be concentrating on.

So far I have decided that boffins ought to be investing time in flying cars, invisibility suits (the ones being drooled over by men-in-white-coats are pretty lame) and mecha. Yeah, I know they are absurd, probably couldn't operate under normal gravity and are ridiculously expensive for little-to-no-gain, but they look cool...

Other suggestions are welcome.

the elixir of eternal youth, the form of weather control (not presently used) that would mean summer forever. I don't hold with the idea that after so long you would yearn for rain and grey skies. and personally, just for myself, the little money-spinning machine used in Rumplestilskin. Summer and young forever. With holiday cash.

I want a teleporter.
